The study program in Spatial planning requires 1 year of study (2 semesters), for which the student receives 60 credit points (CP).

 

The professional title awarded after the completion of the second cycle of studies and defense of the master's thesis is Master in spatial planning.

 

The study program provides an opportunity for further continuing of the education at a higher level of studies - the third cycle of studies organized by the Institute of Geography, study organized by other units of UCM, as well as other higher educational institutions.

CHOOSING SUBJECTS

Within this study program, students take all the mandatory subjects. More than 30% of the elective subjects (2 in total) students choose from the list of elective subjects of the Institute of Geography and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics list of elective subjects, and the remaining 10% of the elective subjects students can choose from the list (university list) of accredited courses from the unit of UCM.

This study program preserves the prescribed ratio between the number of mandatory and elective subjects. The following table shows the percentage ratio between the mandatory and the elective subjects for the study program.
