At the Institute of Geography, within the National and University Library, exists the main library for geography, geology, and ethnology, which is richly equipped with a total number of about 19,500 copies, of which about 6,600 are monographic publications, and about 13,000 are journals. In the total literary fund, in addition to domestic, foreign literature is also present which should be frequently updated with new publications. In the past decades, exchanges have been made with over 110 institutions in the country and abroad but today, with the new internet technologies, the publications are available online. Within the library, with a capacity of 30 seats, there is a modern reading room, which students can use during the working days.
