The study program includes the preparation and defense of the master thesis which is valued at 30 ECTS. Students can prepare their master thesis exclusively in the field of Geographic Information Systems within the more specialized courses of the direction and the narrower specialty or in other related institutions that deal with issues in the field of Geographic Information Systems and is also close to the study program.
CHOOSING SUBJECTS
Within this study program, students take all the mandatory subjects. More than 30% of the elective subjects (2 in total) can be chosen from the list of elective subjects from the list of subjects by the Institute of Geography and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and the remaining 10% of the elective subjects students can be chosen from the list (university list) of accredited courses from the unit and/or from the units of UCM.
The subjects listed as electives should be selected from the list as provided for each semester for achieving continuity in the studying process
